Fresh, modern, unified: Dreidoppel introduces new packaging design

Improved recognition and clarity combined with an appealing, contemporary look: with these maxims, Dreidoppel GmbH from Langenfeld has begun a renewal process for the packaging of the Dreidoppel, Gelatop and PASTAROM brands. In this way, the company is continuing the modernization of its brand image, which began with the introduction of the new brand logo in 2019. Fresh variety images, optimised readability and, above all, the clear, stringent structure make it easier for users to find their way around the extensive ranges of the three brands. The changeover will take place gradually over the course of production.

Clearly recognising the right products is essential in the hectic daily routine in the bakery and ice cream kitchen. Quickly comprehensible, well-structured packaging helps the user to do this. With a new generation of labels in a clear, contemporary look, Dreidoppel has now succeeded in standardising the brands and the entire range. The focus is on clear product and variety coding in German and English, so that the individual products will be even easier to distinguish in the future and also internationally. Daily work with the assortments has never been so easy and convenient!

Everything in place

The clear design is based on the respective brand colours orange (Dreidoppel), magenta (Gelatop) and yellow (PASTAROM). The focus in each case is on a large and appetising illustration of the variety as well as the clear product name and the product category in two languages. Specific product characteristics are represented by easy-to-grasp symbols. Together with all necessary declarations, nutritional information and manufacturer information, they are listed outside the central design area, but very clearly visible. Tidy and well-structured, this uniform and modern appearance emphasises the high-quality character of all products - with the respective brand as sender coming into focus. A grey bar at the foot of each label forms the bracket across all three brands.

Sustainable transformation

The changeover to the new packaging design takes place step by step. In the spirit of sustainability, old materials will be used up first. As the first product group, the popular Dreidoppel pastry pastes will be completely manufactured with new labels from May. In the course of the year, these will also be given a white jar, so that in the future all packaging, except for the foil bags, will be uniformly white.
